I feel Silver Efex Pro is the best conversion tool available today if you want rich, film like B&W photos.

I also show you how to create and save a preset so you can use your formula again and again. Each image is different but I tried to go over the different ways you can adjust and customize your B&W conversions. You’ve been SO helpful and have given me something that I thought impossible. After quite a few e-mails and a comment today in one of the posts about converting a color image to black and white I decided to sit down on this chilly Saturday and record a video tutorial on how I use Nik Silver Efex pro ( Buy at Amazon or B&H Photo) to convert my images to B&W.

But I don't know what to do with a single image after I apply an action and put in a preset. I have downloaded samples and learned how to use actions and presets for montage. I've been stopping by the forums and all the information is miles above my head. Now using the the actions and presets, I’m stuck.as many others are! I looked way up in the archive Monday and have not been able to figure out how to apply the lavender etc to the individual panorama image. I’m just getting started with this collection! I’ve used the Nik action to create the panorama and know how to blend the individual subject images that were the basis for panorama. I’m thinking that I need to use the “vignetting” tool, but I don’t know how to do that. I just want to know how to apply the look to each separate picture, or how to do as you said “apply the image to any photo, layer, or some other kind of editing.” I keep trying.

I need to apply the same look to all of them. So I have several pictures of the same model/person at different poses, age, etc. Installed them and a procedure on how to edit a couple files, but all I need to know is how to apply the file to a different subject. I’m looking for a tutorial that shows me how to use the files in NIK COLLECTION. Nik Silver Efex Pro 2 Free _FULL_ Presets
